UPDATE: The Lillian Bridge Race has been postponed to October 27, 2019.
The Lillian Bridge Race is the last race of the 2019 season. For this event, we are trying something new! We have included events for all boats – large sailboats, small sailboats, and even power boats! So, no excuses – wash off the decks and join us on the water for the Lillian Bridge event. Here’s the scoop, there will be three races that start at 12:00pm, 12:30pm and 12:45, respectively:
Race 1 – Club Race: This will be our traditional club race for monohull sailboats over 20 ft.
Race 2 – Anything Sails: This will be a fun race for any boat under sail. Bring your sunfish, hobie cat, catamaran or anything with a sail that does not qualify for Race 1. We will set the course based on weather conditions and boat types that enter.
Race 3 – Predicted Log: This event is not really a race, but an event for any power boat (big, small, fast or slow). The idea is that you try to predict the time it will take you to complete the course. Winners will be the boats with the smallest error in their prediction (i.e., difference between predicted time and actual time). The one catch being that you can’t use a timer or any time-telling device during the event.
Halloween Party at clubhouse begins at 5pm.
